外資製薬メーカーにてサプライチェーンを担当いただきます。

募集要項

・Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products.
・Creates and Maintains forecast models for commercial partners, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from Sales, Marketing, Finance.
・Acts as the integration point of Sales and Commercial Organization, interfaces with fulfillment operations teams with the expected sales outlook. (0-36 months)
・Leads and/or facilitates the regular dialogue in Sales and Operation Planning, driving consensus of action plans to address risks and opportunities for the market.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
・Carries out and agree on Market Segmentation (Business Value Segmentation)
・Creates an unconstrained consensus forecast for the market / cluster in monthly buckets (statistical modelling and adjustments)
・Maintains demand parameters for the portfolio, manage baseline, upside and downside scenarios
・Assesses trends, risks and opportunities together with the commercial teams
・Reviews gaps to financial plan
・Monitors forecast consumption vs demand and work with fulfilment managers to respond to forecast evolution during the cycle
・Escalates short term demand issues (unavoidable demand) to fulfilment planners / managers
・Performs forecast performance analysis
・Provides input to Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing, new and phase out products
・Product Lifecycle Management (New Launch to Deletion)
Demand Review Process
・Creates statistical forecasts (where applicable):
-Gathers, analyzes and validates data
-Executes Statistical Modelling software
-Reviews resulting statistical forecast model
-Applies error analysis techniques to improve forecasting
-Summarizes / Aggregates
・Reviews sales plans, customer finance budget updates or latest estimates and demand drivers:
-Presents, solicits, and assesses feedback on the various forecasts from sales, and finance
-Recommends adjustments for operational forecasts
-Reviews promotional plans with sales
・Achieves consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative demand review process with sales, marketing and finance teams:
-Prepares relevant material to facilitate review and discussion
・Maintains demand planning system and software
-Enters and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy
-Monitors trends in forecast error
-Identifies relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence)
・Prepares and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
Key Results
・A customer demand forecast which incorporates current and accurate market information that allows the company to correctly predict customer demand and provide its supply chain with the appropriate information to plan how to meet that customer demand.
・Improved relationships among planners, sales, marketing and finance, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company.
・Refine systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer needs.
・Execute with excellence in the area of customer replenishment and feedback to the Fulfillment group the opportunities and risks regarding customer replenishment performance metrics.
・Forecast Accuracy - Lead improvement plans across markets utilizing various Root Cause Analysis methods
Operational Excellence
・Applies best practices are used for SAP, BI analytics, IFP, Rapid Response dashboards (Bias, Attaintment/FCA, Waterfall) to correct forecast bias (ie minimize out of stock / excess inventory / discards) and improve consistency of attainment
・Ensures the use of best practices to conduct New Product pre & post launch analysis with brands and market demand planning teams and recommend actions for future launches based on historical insights
・Conducts historical sales trend analysis at the regional franchise level to establish key demand drivers for the SKUs / franchise / market and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to adjust the forecast to ensure the delivery of an unbiased forecast for the entire planning horizon.

・Avoids financial loss by minimizing out of stock / excess inventory / discards (through driving Forecast Accuracy)
・Meets Profit Plan and Support Divisional Strategy
Quality / SHE Stewardship
Safety, Health and Environment (if role is based in MMD Site)
・Demonstrates and promotes SHE leadership behaviours and engages employees at all levels on SHE issues
・Participates in incident investigations and audits as required and ensures required actions implemented
・Ensures that all daily activities are carried out in accordance with SHE requirements

募集条件

  • Education, Experience, and Qualification
    ・BA/BS, Master’s or PhD in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering
    ・Proficiency in English and Japanese (Native or Business Levels, preferred)
    ・Must be legally authorized to work in Japan
    ・Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning under S&OP; environment
    ・Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
    ・Minimum 3 years of experience in applying statistical forecast analyzing, statistical modeling, consumption/shipment as part of business or operational strategy development
    ・Ability to explain forecast at multiple levels e.g. category, brand, segment, SKU, Account
    ・Experience in the Pharmaceutical or CPG industries with working knowledge of customers and customer behavior and how these behaviors impact the Demand Plan.
    ・Experience in inventory/ demand planning (preferred)
    ・Experience with demand planning software packages (preferred)
    ・Expertise in third party logistics (3PL) management principles and best practices.
    ・Proficiency in use of Manugistics/SAP APO-DP, SAS, and/or COGNOS/Rapid Response
    ・Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R and the likes.
    ・Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    ・Proven ability to summarize and simplify complicated data set with high attention to detail.
    ・Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs
    ・Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels within the organization
    ・Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
    ・Strong organizational, decision-making, innovative problem-solving, and presentation skills
    ・Supply chain/operations certification a plus, such as APICS, CPIM (preferred)
    ・Experience in utilizing Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)
    ・Travel: Up to 10%
    ・Proven communication skills, such as presenting and facilitating team meetings.
    ・Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a supply chain team.
    ・Ability to proactively seek opportunities to increase value by raising standards & championing best practices.

    Qualification:
    ・Bachelor's degree (preferred)
    ・APICS CPIM or CSCP or Demand Planning certification highly desirable
    ・More than 5 years’ experience within Supply Chain or Sales Planning preferred
    Experience:
    ・Related experience in Pharmaceutical a plus
    ・Related experience in managing with multiple planning (ERP) systems and interfaces
    ・Related experience in metric reporting environment
    ・Green Belt certified Sigma/LEAN operational excellence experience is highly preferred.
