CEC Digital Marketing Specialist

The DMS role will be at the center of the Digital Strategy definition and execution for the brands in Japan.


・Following the company transformation, the CEC (Customer Engagement Center) department is also evolving to a more agile and effective structure. The name of the department will change to Multi-Channel Hub, and 3 Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) positions will be available. The DMS role will be at the center of the Digital Strategy definition and execution for the brands in Japan.

・Worldwide Customer Operations: Multi-Channel Hub Team
The Multi-Channel Hub (CM-H) drives seamless multi-channel management by partnering with Brands on strategy and enabling execution. It develops and executes high-quality campaigns / tactics across digital channels in order to improve the promotion of the brands.
・No individuals will report to this position.

・Lead the creation of the Digital Plan in full alignment with the marketing priorities
・Has an active role during the brand plan process, providing innovative ideas to use digital channels in the brand strategy
・Is responsible for the Digital Budget execution and follow up. Leads monthly budget updates to the Brand Team
・ Provides early insight into lead markets material creation to drive content re-use
・Is an expert of all Digital Channels: Websites, Rep Trigger emails, IVA (Interactive Visual Aid), Online Meetings, Web-seminars & e-detailing
・Leads and executes all digital tactics in collaboration with the Digital agencies and ensures that the plans are delivered on time and on budget
・Support submissions of digital material through the Legal/Medical/Regulatory (LMR) review process. Marketer is champion and lead for L/M/R
・Review usage of Channels based on insights from Customers (HCP, MR, PM)

・Provides KPI follow up reviews of Digital Channels to the Brand Teams
・In collaboration with Sales Management (and training teams if applicable), facilitates training of channels to the sales teams


  • ・Solid experience in Digital Marketing
    ・Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    ・Experience working in a matrix environment
    ・Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred
    ・Experience in project/program management
    ・Sales and/or Marketing experience is a major advantage
    ・Strong consensus building and conflict management skills
    ・Proven ability in managing digital agencies, vendors, and project support teams
    ・Experience and knowledge of the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process
    ・High / Medium English Level required

    at least 5 years experience in digital marketing
